The Young Artist.
Helloooooo!!! Life has been crazy busy lately, I had a tough two weeks of decision making, and yet nothing is resolved. Yet. Excuses, excuses…believe me, I couldn’t WAIT for the moment where I can start yapping away again and displaying some of my latest photos! I promise myself to write more, and only when I feel like it. But I’m having a bit of writer’s block at the moment, having just spent about 10 minutes catching up on Garance Dore‘s blog, which is so well written, so funny, so self-deprecating, so SINCERE, that I don’t know what to say or write after that.
C-o-m-p-l-e-t-e writer’s block. And I haven’t even begun talking about her beautiful photographic style!
So I told myself: “Ok Dina: no browsing other blogs before sitting down to write a post myself”. But I don’t really like to force rules upon myself (hihi) AND, I think that Garance, not a professional writer at all, but just a true artist (illustrator and photographer), successfully writes because she writes from her heart. She’s not fake, or trying to be witty, she just IS. Who knew fashion could be so funny? :)
Anyway, without further ado, I’d like to share some photos of Jean-Bruno aka Bluenose, an up-and-coming musician in Montreal. He experiments with different styles such as hip hop, rock and electronic. I met JB through my sister, who used to work with him. I traveled with them a few times, mooching off of their business trips. Oh, don’t worry, they were aware.
Have a great weekend! :) dxx
